ReUsies Review and Giveaway!! CLOSED

Sponsored by Tomoson.com

First Impression: When I opened the package from ReUsies I found the most adorable sandwich and snack bag I have ever seen!  They are so well made and even have velcro on the back to prevent snagging in the washer, which is so important.  I immediately claimed these bags as mine!

Style/Choices: ReUsies come in two sizes: snack size and sandwich size.  They even have the option to buy them in two packs so you can have a matching set!  One for your sandwich and one for your apple wedges or carrots, perfect!  So many colors and patterns to choose from, I chose my favorite and my son's favorite to show you.

Functionality: They are very functional and are easily washed in the washing machine or dishwasher.  They are of ample size and can fit different sizes of snacks and sandwiches, as well as many other things.

How it Promotes a Healthy Lifestyle:  As you all know I am on Weight Watchers and my defense against drive thrus and other eating demons is to always have a freshly prepared healthy meal with me at all times.  Being an ecologically conscience mom, these reusable sacks are definitely up my alley.

Cost Effective: They are $8.95 for the sandwich size, $6.95 for the snack size, and $15.95 for the two pack.  These are very well priced if you think about how much money you will save when switching from the planet contaminating disposable bags.

Information from the Site:

Available Sizes

Snack: approx. 6” w / 5” h
The snack size holds a half sandwich or whole sandwich with the crust cut off! It is good for smaller quantities of crackers, pretzels, apple slices, etc.

Sandwich: approx. 7.5” w/ 6”h
The sandwich size holds a typical "grown up"- sized sandwich, full bagel, or larger quantity of snacks.
A typical lunch would contain one sandwich and two snack-sized bags or three snack-sized bags.

Care Instructions

ReUsies™ can be machine washed and dried, washed in the dishwasher, or for longest life simply wiped clean with a soapy sponge and air dried.
**to keep the Velcro from snagging on the stitching when washing in the machine we recommend turning the bag inside out, tucking in the flap, and securing one side of the Velcro to the other.
Pros:
  • Ecologically savvy
  • Great for packing lunches
  • So many adorable patterns
  • Kid friendly

Cons:
  • They are an investment if you buy a bunch of them, so make sure you stick with it!
